The Community Task Force has met several times and put together
a building proposal that they felt would fill the needs of the
school district.
On June 16, the Osakis School Board approved the issue of $6.7
million in building bonds for a building project. The project would
create a new lunch area, update the science labs, add elementary
classrooms, and establish a safer loading and unloading zone for
the buses.
As the project moves forward, we will continue to post updates and links here as they become available.
What is in the new Osakis Public School building project?
Science Addition (Yellow section on east side of second floor of
school building)
• Physical Science Lab and Classroom
• Biology Lab and Classroom
• Chemistry/Physics Lab and Classroom
• Special Education Classroom
Commons/Kitchen Addition (Yellow section on north side of

• Commons (cafeteria)
