Family Access to Skyward
December 17, 2008
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT ! PLEASE READ!!
Once again we request that parents routinely monitor theirstudents lunch accounts online. This is important because last year the school board adopted a policy with regard to meal charges. If a family’s lunch account exceeds a $20.00 charge, the student(s) will be given an alternative meal of a sandwich, piece of fruit, and milk. Students with delinquent accounts will be allowed to purchase the day’s meal only if they have cash with them.
Students that receive free meals will be charged $.25 for milk taken at milk break. This charge for milk will prompt a delinquent account notification if you do not keep money in your family account. Again, parents need to access Skyward and monitor the family’s account so delinquencies do not occur.
EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS CAN BE MADE IF YOU LOG IN AND ADD YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS TO YOUR ACCOUNT. PLEASE HELP YOURSELF OUT AND DO THIS TODAY!
Parents and students can access the family lunch account status on the district website osakispublicschools.org.
Once on the schools website, you will see a Family Access button on the top right. Upon clicking this button you will come to a page with a Skyward link. Clicking on the link will take you to a login page ( you’ll need a user name and password). With the proper user name and password you can access your student’s information on the Skyward program. You can get your password from Teri Haburnin the high school office, from Bonnie Schultz in the elementary office, or from Al Edwards in the Media Center. Once you are in the program you can change your user name and password if you want to, as well as enter your email address in order to receive delinquent account notifications.
You will also be able to keep track of calendar, assignments, student information, grades, attendance, schedules, discipline, etc.
