Welcome to the K-12 General and Vocal Music web page!
I'm really looking forward to the 2007-2008 school year. Here's a little information about myself. I am a graduate of Osakis High School and have lived here most of my life. I went to Northwestern College and received my B.S. degree in Elementary Education with a music minor. I later went on to add my degree in Music from SCSU. This begins my ninth year teaching at Osakis.
My husband, Chad and I have 2 children, Lauren - 13 and Morgan - 10. We've lived in Osakis for 12 years. We're huge Minnesota Twins fans and follow the Vikings too. Football is my favorite sport to watch and tennis is my favorite sport to play. We have a chocolate lab named Bailey and Lauren has a rabbit, Daisy. Both pets are girls so my husband is pretty out numbered! As a family, we enjoy sports, bike rides, games and movie nights.
Music has always been a big part of my life. Besides singing, I play piano and was a percussionist in high school and college. I love what I do and look forward to hopefully passing on my love for music, being involved in performance groups, and the language of music.
