Hi! My name is Mrs. Gretchen Resley and I am the Osakis K-12 Art Teacher. I am excited to be returning to teach in Osakis after teaching in Long Prairie for the last six years. My schedule includes one hour a day each of eighth grade and ninth grade art and one hour of pottery and sculpture. I also teach an Exploring Art class and Basic Design. I will end my day with one hour of Elementary Art. In addition, I will be the student council co-advisor and I am planning on starting up an art club.
I live northwest of Osakis with my husband Randy who is the band director and our three children.
I grew up in Mahnomen, MN where my parents were teachers. I graduated from Moorhead State University with a B.S. Degree in K-12 Art Education as well as a B.A. Degree in Drawing and Painting. My first teaching assignment was at Osakis Elementary, and I am thrilled to be teaching alongside some of my former students. I am really looking forward to having the opportunity to work with high school students that I got to know when they were in Elementary. It will be an exciting year!
