Welcome to Second Grade (2-M)
My name is Lynette Mitteness. After graduating from Benson High School in 1972, I attended Moorhead State University, graduating in 1976 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Reading. I began my teaching career in Osakis teaching second grade. I enjoy working with second graders. I love their enthusiasm and their sense of humor. It's very rewarding seeing the progress they make in reading during the school year as well.
I am excited to begin this school year. We will be using a new reading program, Macmillan/McGraw-Hill. It combines reading, writing, language, and spelling. We will also be able to have our own web page. Please visit us often for updates through out the year.
