Welcome to the Art Department!

Hi! My name is Mrs. Gretchen Resley and I am the Osakis K-12 Art Teacher. I am excited to be teaching my second year in Osakis. From 1989-2000, I taught Elem. Art in Osakis before teaching 6 years in Long Prairie. This last year was a lot of fun as I got to work with many students that I taught in Elem. School. This year my schedule includes one hour a day each of eighth grade and ninth grade art and one hour of pottery/sculpture. I also teach an Exploring Art class, and I will end my day with one hour of Elementary Art. In addition, I am the student council co-advisor.
I live northwest of Osakis with my husband Randy who is the band director and our three children.
I grew up in Mahnomen, MN where my parents were teachers. I graduated from Moorhead State University with a B.S. Degree in K-12 Art Education as well as a B.A. Degree in Drawing and Painting. I hope to soon be starting a Master's Program. My goal is to offer college classes in the high school.
