Welcome to the 2007 school year! I am one of many special education teachers in Osakis Public School. I currently serve high school students who have been identified as having a learning disability in math, reading, or written expression. Starting my 18th year in Osakis, I am looking forward to teaching students again after a summer break. Seeing students learn new things or finally understand a concept which has given them difficulty in the past, keeps me excited to be in this profession.
I graduated from Wadena High School and did my undergraduate work at Concordia College in Moorhead and Moorhead State University. My post-graduate work has been done at St. Cloud University. I am married to Craig who teaches in the Communication Art and Design program at Alexandra Technical college. We have two grown children, Aaron who is a math teacher in the New York City school system and Jenna who works in business in Minneapolis.
